Leon Williams - S.S.C Teacher - All levels
Founder and Director of Salsa South Connection. Leon has over 30 years experience in the world of Dance. He started at the tender age of 8 years and through his teens Leon competed at the highest level in Ballroom and Latin. Leon also gained valuable experience as a part time student at the London Studio Centre in Kings Cross, London.

Tara was introduced to salsa 4 years ago and a year later, her increasing confidence and ability enabled her to apply as a teacher for SSC. She has been involved in many salsa demonstrations and festivals. Tara's has a very bubbly personality which shines ever more when she's teaching. How does she sum up Salsa? In her own words "… it gives me a great sense of freedom and energy".

Cincia came along to one of SSC's venues as an absolute beginner 4 years ago and has been hooked ever since! She joined SSC as a teacher 3 years ago and enjoys every minutes of it. She particularly loves the music and the social scene that salsa dancing brings. She gets a real buzz from teaching and enjoys watching her pupils having a great time.
Michelle Barnes - S.S.C Teacher
Absolute Beginners to Improvers Level

Her first encounter with salsa was 6 years ago when she had a taster lesson at a family party. Michelle was captivated by the music and style of dance and since has to have her weekly salsa-fix! With a background in performing arts she was encouraged to teach for SSC in 2001. She thoroughly enjoys this side of salsa.. in her own words :" I regularly take delight in seeing the different pupils I've taught over the years progress into better dancers than me!".
Dennis Smith - S.S.C Teacher
Absolute Beginners Level

Dennis is an accountant by profession. He started salsa in Canterbury in 2001 purely by accident when he got the wrong night thinking he was going to a Jive night... He enjoyed himself so much that salsa took over his life... if there's a salsa event somewhere, Dennis will usually be there! Dennis was always keen to help out with the absolute beginners and was asked to join S.S.C as a teacher in October 2005.
Tina Smith - S.S.C Teacher

Tina's first salsa lesson was in December 1999 and joined SSC at a teacher in March 2002. She absolutely loves all things Latin; the people, the music, the culture, the language. There is such energy & passion to salsa, she finds it totally infectious! She listens to salsa at home, in the car and even her work PC tuned into a Latin station! Tina loves teaching and would happily give up her day job as a Practice Manager in a GP surgery to just salsa all day!
Carol Jackson - S.S.C Teacher

Carol Jackson is a BSY & SYTCC Yoga instructor and YMCA exercise to music instructor with over 12 years experience. Her reputable classes which are mainly around the Thanet area have been sustained with much emphasis on Health, Happiness and toning both Mind and Body.
We are pleased to say that all her experience has become an advantage to Salsa South. Carol has been enjoying and loving Salsa since Jan 2006 and is now a qualified UKA instructor. Massimo Mazzuco
Massimo,UKA medal test for all levels; founder of Salsa Massima, from Italy originally, came to London in 2000. Already an experienced salsa teacher, he has now been dancing over 10 years. In London he trained with Super Mario, Susana Montero & Leon Rose and became a regular in the London salsa scene.
Massimo's speciality is to dance salsa on 2 and cha cha. He's now branching out and is also learning Latin ballroom Massimo also runs Wednesday night at Acacia Hall.
